Hi everyone,
The start of the 22/23 season has fast approached, with league matches starting up this weekend for the Ladies and next weekend for the Men's teams. It promises to be a great year for the club. Details below for some admin that needs to be done before everyone plays their first game, and a save the date for our first social!
**Hockey Ireland Membership**
If you have yet to do so, it is essential to sign up/renew your Hockey Ireland Membership this week. You can register and pay your 10 euro here. If you played last season, you can click your old number to renew when it pops up. For the ladies, if you haven't sorted your membership by Wednesday, you won't be registered in time to play in matches this weekend, so get on it!
**Subs Payment**
We operate a "no pay, no play" policy in Rathgar. This means you need to get your first installment of subs paid up before your first competitive match. Subs can be paid as a lump sum, or through 4 monthly installments. The subscriptions this year are €385 for adults and €285 for students/unwaged. A reminder you can receive a 10% discount on subscriptions for referring a new paying member to the Club. This will be refunded back to you by the Club upon payment of subs.
How to pay:
We use ClubZap (download here on IOS and Andriod) to collect subscriptions. To pay via the app:
- Join Rathgar HC on ClubZap,
- navigate to 'Membership' on the App,
- enter in the same email as last year if renewing, or if a new member, follow the link to get set up.
- You can select the payment method at the last step to pay in 4 installments or all up front.
Alternatively, you can pay through ClubZap online at the following link: https://rathgarhc.com/pages/membership
Please contact treasurer Alan (alan.white14@gmail.com) if you have any questions/issues.
**Save the date - Halloween Social - 22nd October**
We are really looking forward to getting lots of socials up and running again this year! More details to follow, but for now keep Saturday October 22nd free for our RHC Halloween party!
**Use of the back gate**
You'll be happy to hear that the gate at the Orwell Road entrance is back working again! A reminder to take care with parking and not to park on the bridge (where there is a continuous white line) and not to restrict neighbors entrances or access to the big gate to the pitches (required for ambulance access in case of emergency).
