Hope everyone is enjoying their week and looking forward to the last of the January matches this weekend!

Ladies Junior Hockey Covid Officer Rota

With the easing of restrictions, we no longer need Covid Officers to supervise junior hockey! However, we are still in need of helpers to ensure smooth running of the sessions. Therefore, we are keeping the rota, but instead of carrying out covid duties, the volunteer will get to help out with the session! If you're not sure when you're rostered on, you can double check the rota here.

Leinster Code of Conduct Reminder
With the second half of the season now underway, Leinster Hockey have asked all clubs to remind everyone of their code of conduct (which can be found here) and the Hockey Ireland code of conduct (which can be found here). In particular they ask to highlight:

• In respect of social media, the Code of Conduct states: Any Statement in which the whole, part or essence, is made in a public forum.  Such a statement may be made in any public forum including newspaper, internet, social media, blogs etc.,(i) Public statement must be fair, constructive, appropriate and reasonable and must not involve a personal attack on a player, umpire, official, volunteer, administrator or spectator
• not to approach or confront an umpire or technical official within the 20-minute cool-off period following the end of the match and behave in an inappropriate or unwelcomed manner, or to argue/question decisions made during the match.

Volunteer Request for InterPros - Sunday 30th Jan & Sun 6th Feb - Three Rock Rovers
Leinster Hockey are looking for volunteers (over 18) to help manage junior inter-provincial matches on Sunday 30th Jan & Sunday 6th Feb in TRR.  Anyone interested in volunteering as a venue manager/pitch manager/traffic monitor or running social media can sign up HERE.
